Lars Jonker is the premiere custom steel sculpture artist from Indiana whose works are featured online, in print on television. Amassing an extensive collection of unique pieces throughout his career, Lars' works grace the United States from Indiana to Arizona, in private homes, the halls and exteriors of businesses, gardens and a public park in Indianapolis.
Lars is the son of Myra Jonker. He grew up in Wichita, KS where he began his pursuit of design and artwork, ultimately blending the two with cold, hard steel and taking the pseudonym "Poet Of Steel".
Lars and his wife Sarah are currently live in Indiana. Soon Lars hopes to establish his permanent shop where he'll continue his work and hopes to branch out into more fields or artistic design including custom motorcycles.
